Investment and International Cooperation Minister Dr. Al-Hadi Mohamed Ibrahim discussed, today at his office, with the Japanese Ambassador in the Ministry the investment opportunities between Sudan and Japan.
The meeting was attended by Toyota company resident representative in Khartoum, the Director of Golden Arrow Company and others.
The meeting discussed aspects of investment opportunities, particularly in the field of infrastructure, solar energy, meat processing, agriculture and transport.
The Minister briefed the Japanese diplomat on reforms made by the transitional government on investment act, banking system and private sector.
Meanwhile the minister hailed the Japanese support to Sudan through Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The Japanese ambassador, on his part ,affirmed the strong bilateral relations between Sudan and Japan, pointing out that the upcoming period would witness entry of a number of Japanese investment companies into the country.
