Austrian FM: EU is deeply disturbed for Ethiopia’s unilateral actions

Vienna, July  7 (Russia Today Channel) -Austrian Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg warned against playing with fire regarding the issue of the Renaissance Dam and the waters of the Nile River, noting that the European Union is “disturbed by Ethiopia’s actions.

Schallenberg interviewed by Sada Al-Balad, Channel that he met the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, on this issue, noting that “the matter is complicated and no one should play with fire”.

 He stressed that “the issue of water is an existential issue, and the disagreement may lead to what has unimaginable consequences, and the Nile River is not The property of a specific country, and no country can control the flow of the Nile River,”.
